29 Best Curated Gift Boxes, Gift Sets, and Gift Baskets

Gift boxes make for a superb gift, and there is one for pretty much every interest. Gardening? There’s a gift set for that. Skincare? You got it. They make buying gifts that are relevant to your giftee’s hobbies easier, and who doesn’t love that?

That being said, it can be hard to find a good quality gift basket. There are plenty available, but most of them leave something to be desired. To help you in finding the perfect gift, I’ve put together a list of some of the best gift boxes available online. I hope it’ll make your search a little easier!

GOURMET

1. Olive Oil Gift Set

Olive oil is the nectar of the Gods and no one can tell me otherwise. If your giftee love’s olive oil as much as I do, this set is the perfect gift.

It comes with four different infused oils, including tuscan herb, garlic, basil, and truffle. Each flavor comes in its own 8.5 oz upscale glass bottle, and considering how much olive oil you get for the price, it’s a great deal.

2. Balsamic Vinegar Gift Set

Balsamic vinegar can take even the most simple foods, from grilled asparagus to baked pears, and give them just the right oomf to turn them into complex, multi-faceted meals.

Many people don’t give balsamic vinegar the recognition it deserves, and usually because of a subpar experience with a subpar product. And it makes sense – this is one product that tastes entirely different depending on quality. A high-quality balsamic will taste different than a cheaper variety, and the difference is night and day.

For this reason, a nice set of balsamic vinegars is a fantastic gift for cooking pros and beginners alike. This set by Blazing Bella comes with five different infused balsamic vinegars – peach, fig, strawberry, raspberry, and pineapple. They also come in a pinewood box with a pretty brand insignia etched into it.

3. Truffle Oil Gift Set

Truffle oil is a luxury ingredient that has a reputation for being earthy, heady, and extremely overpowering. This is because most people who cook with it use too much. A tiny amount is all you need, and when used sparingly, truffle oil is delicious. That is also one of the reasons I like it so much – one small bottle lasts a very long time.

This is a great set by TruffleHunter that includes white truffle oil (delicate and garlicky), black truffle oil (intense and earthy), and English truffle oil (nutty). They’re all made using real truffles, and are blended with high quality oils including cold pressed extra virgin olive oil and rapeseed oil.

4. Grilling Spice Set

If the person you’re buying a gift for is a grilling enthusiast, look no further. This is an awesome gift for anyone interested in kicking their cooking up a notch. It’s an ultimate grilling spice set, and although the spice mixes are intended for grill use, they make a mean dry rub or seasoning for any dish.

The set comes with 20 different BBQ rubs and spices, including flavors such as chipotle lime, chili rosemary, Jamaican jerk, cajun, and Memphis.

5. Essential Seasonings Set

I don’t know about y’all, but it seems like every time I try a new recipe I’m having to buy a new spice or herb. (usually one that I could’ve sworn I already had) They cost a pretty penny too, so it’s done begrudgingly.

As such, I would gladly receive an essential spice set as a gift, and I feel like many others share the sentiment. This set by Spicewalla comes with 18 different spices and herbs, ranging from the most common seasonings like paprika and garlic powder, to slightly less common seasonings such as fennel seed.

6. Honey Gift Set

Incorporating flavored honeys in your cooking is a fun way to liven up meals. Two of my favorite pairings are spicy honey with fried chicken and lemon honey with tea, but there are countless others. This gift set includes three different flavors – salted honey, meyer lemon honey, and spicy honey – and it comes with a honeycomb dish towel and several printed recipes.

7. Hot Sauce Gift Set

A hot sauce sampler set is a superb gift for any aficionado of spicy food. This Flavors of the World set is by far my favorite, for a few different reasons – it comes with 30 different flavors, has a wide range of spice levels, and like its name suggests, it includes hot sauces from around the world from places like Cuba, Hawaii, Thailand, Texas, Argentina, Costa Rica, India, Jamaica, Fiji, and Egypt.

8. DIY Hot Sauce Gift Set

If your giftee loves hot sauces, and you think they’d enjoy a more hands-on approach, a do-it-yourself hot sauce kit is the way to go. They make you appreciate how much goes into creating a simple hot sauce and allow for next to endless customization of heat and flavor. This set comes with everything you’ll need, and includes only high quality, GMO free 5th generation heirloom peppers and spice blends.

9. Coffee Gift Set

Coffee is one of my favorite things to gift, and primarily because of its diversity. There are thousands upon thousands of different flavors, and this variety makes finding a personalized coffee easy and fun. Does the person you’re buying a gift for really like blueberry cobbler? They have a coffee for that. How about cookies and cream ice cream? They have a coffee for that, too.

My favorite gift set is Bones Coffee Favorite Flavors Sample Pack. It comes with five different bags of coffee (ground or whole bean, you choose), in the flavors strawberry cheesecake, sinn-o-bun, s’morey time, maple bacon, and Highland grog. All the flavors are vegan friendly, allergen-free, and come in resealable bags.

10. K-Cup Coffee Set

If your giftee prefers the convenience of k-cup pods over coffee beans, this is a great variety pack for them. It comes with sixty different cups and twenty different flavors including butter toffee, hazelnut, hawaiian blend, classic cinnamon roll, french roast, and donut shop.

11. Wine Gift Set

This isn’t a gourmet gift set, but I put it in this category because I think it’s the closest fit. If the person you’re buying a gift for is a lover of wine, you can’t go wrong with a wine accessory gift set. If you get the right one, it’ll come with tools to enhance and preserve wine, like this one by Ivation.

It comes with an electric corkscrew, vacuum preserver, wine aerator, two stoppers, a foil cutter, and a sleek LED charging base to neatly fit it all on.

12. Meat & Cheese Gift Box

Meat and cheese trays are a classic. They’re simple in all the right ways and are an awesome gift for cheese lovers (like me). Hickory Farms makes killer gift sets, and this one’s no exception.

It comes with six different cheeses (vegetable harvest cheddar, smoked gouda, jalapeno cheddar, farmhouse cheddar, and creamy Swiss), three packages of their consumer-favorite beef summer sausage, and a package of golden toasted crackers.

13. Biscotti Gift Basket

Anyone who’s never had a biscotti is in for a treat. Biscottis are superior to chocolates and cookies, and that’s because they’re the perfect mixture of both. They are a crisp, twice baked cookie that sometimes contains nuts, and are topped with chocolate and all kinds of goodies.

This gift set by Barnett’s contains twelve different biscottis, with six different toppings/flavors. They include candied almonds, caramel chips, craisin, peppermint, cookie crunch, and coconut crunch. The gift box they come in is classy and well-made, and the biscottis are handmade and baked fresh.

14. DIY Gin-Making Alcohol Infusion-Kit

This DIY Gin-Making kit is so cool that I might just buy it for myself. It comes with everything you need to make your own craft-gin at home, including twelve exotic botanicals, an alcohol base, a funnel, glass bottles, and a few cocktail recipes.

It’s also made by a brand that takes sustainability seriously, which is something I deeply appreciate. Their products are zero waste and are made in the USA with 100% organic, recyclable, biodegradable materials.

15. V.I.P. Gourmet Gift Basket

If you’re looking for an elaborate, luxurious gift basket containing a wide array of snacks, this is the one for you. It’s made by Wine Country Gift Baskets and is the crème de la crème of food inspired gift baskets. It comes with both sweet and savory snacks, including items like Godiva chocolate, Limoncelli Italian cookies, garlic and herb spreadable cheese, bruschetta, beef jerky, and tons more.

You can also include a personalized message, which is a nice touch that you don’t often see when buying online gift baskets.

16. Flowering Tea Set

Tea is one of my all-time favorite things. I like drinking it, I like brewing it, I like growing it, and I love trying new versions of it. (both herbal and traditional) If your giftee is a tea lover as well, and enjoys art, one of the most interesting gifts you can get them is a flowering tea gift set. I’d never tried them until recently, mainly because they’re a bit pricey, but I can guarantee you that if someone had bought me these as a gift I would have been ecstatic.

Basically, they are mini bouquets of tea leaves that are hand sewn around flowers. When dry they form the shape of a ball, but once steeped in hot water they bloom into a flower. They are beautiful, and extremely fun to watch – they’re like a miniature time lapse of the life cycle of flowers.

This set made by Numi (one of my all-time favorite tea brands) comes with six different tea blossoms, all of which are comprised of a variety of camellia sinensis paired with different types of flowers such as lilies, amaranth, hibiscus, and jasmine flowers. The set also comes with a sixteen ounce glass teapot.

17. Loose Leaf Tea Set

A high-quality set of loose leaf tea is another awesome gift for tea lovers, and one that will be greatly appreciated.

You’ll find that a lot of tea connoisseurs prefer loose leaf tea over tea bags, and for good reason – tea bags are comprised of the dust from broken tea leaves which have lost most of their essential oils and aroma, tea bags tend to release more tannins than loose leaf tea making it more bitter, and tea leaves need adequate room to expand to release their full flavor potential, which tea bags hinder. So, for you or the person you’re buying a gift for, ditch the bags and buy yourself a good set of loose leaf tea.

This one is a nice basic set that comes in three different variety packs, each of which contains nine different teas. The one pictured above contains mangoberry white tea, peppermint, chamomile, genmaicha, rooibos tea, jasmine green tea, assam, rose black tea, and their custom-made sleep aid tea. They come in cute little jars that have clear lids so you can see what you’re looking at, and are packed in an eco-friendly box.

GARDEN

18. Cactus Succulent Seed Starter Kit

Succulents have been all the craze the past few years, and it’s understandable – they require very little care, are hard to kill, and once you have one plant you have the potential to have hundreds. (just pluck off a leaf and tend to it ‘til roots sprout)

Buying them as grown plants can be a expensive though, so as challenging as growing from seeds can be, it’s worth it if you’re up to the task. This Cactus Succulent Seed Starter Kit made by Garden Republic comes with everything you need to start your own mini succulent/cactus garden. Included is four mini burlap grow bags, four bamboo plant markers, potting soil, pruning shears, an instruction booklet, four different mixed seed packages that come with over eighteen species of succulents and cacti, and a wooden box to gift it all in.

19. Herb Garden Starter Kit

This is another superb plant kit made by Garden Republic. Rather than succulents, this kit is for starting your own herb garden.

Let me just say before I get into the details of this kit that if you aren’t already growing your own herbs, you should totally try it. There’s nothing like making pesto out of your homegrown basil and frying up some sweet potatoes with rosemary picked fresh from your garden – it brings me so much joy, and I feel it would for most people.

This herb garden set comes with all of the items in the succulent kit, but instead of succulent seeds it comes with basil, thyme, parsley, and cilantro seeds.

20. Pepper Garden Gift Kit

You guessed it – another starter kit by Garden Republic. They might seem a little repetitive at this point, but the only reason I’m including them is because they’re awesome kits and I want to give you as many choices as I can.

This kit is for pepper lovers, and I can say from personal experience that growing your own peppers is 100 times better than buying them. My dad is an extreme spice eater, and growing up he grew his own habaneros, ghost peppers, and a variety of other hot peppers. Freshly grown peppers are simply better than store-bought peppers, in both their fresh and dried form.

One of the best things about growing your own peppers is that you can control their spice level by changing their environmental condition. Want a hotter pepper? Give the plant less water, let the peppers age a little longer before picking, and throw a few unlit matches into the pot. (for its sulfur content) Want a more mild pepper? Give the plant more water, pick the peppers a little earlier, and give the plant a fertilizer high in nitrogen. Simple changes like that can drastically change the spice level of your peppers, and the customization aspect of it is fun.

This grow kit comes with all of the items in the other kits in addition to cayenne, habanero, jalapeno, and anaheim pepper seeds.

21. Bonsai Starter Kit

This Bonsai Tree Starter Kit is less for people that want functional plants, and more for people who enjoy decorative plants that they have to give tons of TLC to. Owning a bonsai tree is fulfilling and is an exceptional experience in so many ways.

They are beautiful, caring for them makes you a more patient individual, shaping them is an art form, and you can make a lifelong friend out of a bonsai – the oldest living bonsai trees are estimated to be more than eight hundred years old.

This kit comes with the seeds of four different trees that make wonderful bonsais. These include colorado blue spruce, black spruce, brazilian rosewood, and Delonix Regia seeds. (better known as flame tree)

BATH & BODY

22. Bath Bombs Gift Set

Bath bombs improve even the most relaxing baths. If you get the right ones, they’re formulated with moisturizing ingredients and therapeutic scents, which make any bath better. This gift set comes with twelve different handmade bath bombs, all of which include killer ingredients such as shea butter, cocoa butter, and olive oil. Each bomb is individually wrapped, making for ideal presentation.

23. Beard Grooming Kit

If there’s a man in your life who cares about his beard, or is trying to learn how to maintain it, this is the gift for them. It’s an extensive beard grooming kit that includes everything you need to maintain healthy, well moisturized whiskers. The set comes with shampoo, conditioner, oil, balm, a brush, a comb, scissors, an e-book, and a storage bag to carry it all in. The cosmetics are formulated with 100% natural ingredients, including sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, argan oil, and grapeseed oil.

24. MIZON Gift Set

I am a proud skincare lover who spends a good amount of money, and even more time, learning about and caring for my skin. I’ve tried countless products, most of which were okay, some of which were terrible, and very few were good enough to be re-purchasable.

I can tell you from personal experience that MIZON is a phenomenal brand that I buy from frequently. They make wonder product after wonder product, and there are very few brands that I like more. Their skincare gift set is the perfect gift for skincare lovers, both experienced and beginner alike. It comes with their whole snail repair line, which is one of their most popular lines, and a cult favorite for many.

Included is their all in one snail repair cream, snail repair eye cream, snail repair intensive ampoule, and snail repairing foam cleanser. Each product comes with a hefty concentration of snail mucin, which although might sound a bit off-putting, is an extraordinary ingredient that does all kinds of wonderful things for your complexion, such as moisturize the skin, stimulate collagen production, soothe irritation, and more. 10/10 would recommend this brand.

25. Lip Balm Gift Set

I lose lip balm like I’m paid to, and have actually received a lip balm kit as a gift before, and let me tell you, I loved it. If I were to buy a lip balm gift set, or purchase one for myself, this one made by Beauty by Earth is the one I’d get.

It comes with twelve tubes of lip balm with several scents, including honey, vanilla bean, green tea, grapefruit-pomegranate, asian pear, acai berry, and peppermint. They’re also 100% USDA organic (which I love), and include fantastic ingredients such as sunflower seed oil, beeswax, coconut oil, castor oil, aloe vera, shea butter, and vitamin E.

26. Massage Gift Kit

Everybody loves a good massage, and this gift set is especially cool because it’s non-electric – yay sustainability! The package comes with cucumber melon shower gel, bubble bath, a loofah, a scented candle, shea butter potpourri, a reflexology stick, and a wooden massage comb.

27. Facial Massage Kit

This is another great gift for skincare lovers. I used to think facial rollers and massagers were gimmicky, but they’ve been scientifically proven to positively affect skin in multiple ways, such as stimulating the skin to increase blood flow, which provides all sorts of benefits such as a more vibrant skin tone, plumper skin, and a reduction in the signs of aging. There’s a reason facial massage has been around for thousands of years – it works.

This massage set comes with a facial roller and a gua sha massage tool (which are both made of Brazilian jade), and a satin drawstring bag.

28. Picnic Backpack Gift Set

If you’ve ever planned a picnic, or really any activity that involves eating outdoors, you know how difficult it can be to remember everything. It seems like every time I go somewhere I end up forgetting something seemingly trivial like napkins or a bottle opener, which ends up making a bigger impact than you’d think. (imagine eating wings or veggie sticks smothered in ranch without any napkins to wipe your hands with – it’s not a pretty picture) The only way I can manage to remember everything is to make an extensive list beforehand, then check it a few dozen times before I leave, but this picnic set makes the whole process a lot easier.

It’s basically a picnic in a backpack. It comes with all the silverware, dinnerware, and equipment you’ll need for a relaxing picnic, plus an insulated cooler inside of the backpack for all of your drinks and food. Included in the set are:

  • four knives
  • four spoons
  • four forks
  • four dinner plates
  • four wine glasses
  • four cloth napkins
  • bottle opener
  • salt and pepper shakers
  • cutting board
  • water resistant fleece blanket

29. Whiskey Stones Gift Se

This is the gift for people who take their liquor seriously. They are a replacement for big round ice molds, which although melt slower than normal ice, still water down your drink. You just put the stones in the freezer, let them get nice and cold, and then place them in your drink of choice.

This set comes with two whiskey glasses, two slate coasters, eight granite stones, a velvet carrying bag, and tongs. The set is also packed in a premium wooden box that looks very sophisticated.

Please note that this article contains affiliate links. If you make a purchase using one of them, I earn a commission at no extra cost to you. I only recommend products that I 100% stand behind.
